Leave a message Since February of 2022, the shipping freight cost of 80% lines are bringing down. The cost of some lines are just half of before. For example, the shipping freight cost by sea to MANZANILLO,MEXICO was about US$15000-US$16000 per 40HQ last year.But now it`s just about US$8500 per 40HQ.
The high freight cost was because of sea port congestion, shortage of empty containers, trucks & drivers--Based on the data of Sea-Intelligence report, 78% vessels to the western sea ports of USA delayed more than 10days. As well, the explosion in Sri Lanka`s sea area, the port workers in Shenzhen`s Yantian port and Ningbo port found new cases of COVID, workers` strike in European port also caused more problems. Many lines of shipping freight cost are even higher than the goods` value.
Luckily, the shipping freight cost is bringing down now and already has a big deduction. Wish the shipping freight cost can recover soon!
